Hi, I’m Jenny Cobuzzi, a therapist, board-certified dance/movement therapist, supervisor, and consultant. I bring creativity, compassion, and extensive clinical experience to my work. I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves and our relationships.
My approach combines evidence-based therapeutic practices with an appreciation for the mind-body connection, helping clients develop greater self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
I work with individuals navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, panic, relationship challenges, and parenting concerns. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, recognize your strengths, and discover new possibilities for change.
After earning my undergraduate degrees from Marymount Manhattan College in New York in 2002, I worked as a professional dancer, traveling and performing around the world. I later earned my master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Antioch University New England in 2013.
I spent more than 12 years in nonprofit community mental health, where I expanded access to dance/movement therapy and championed telehealth services. I also developed telehealth group programming, increasing access to care while supporting the professional growth of colleagues.
Beyond my clinical work, I serve as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Dance Therapy and have contributed to professional education and mentorship through my work with the American Dance Therapy Association and Pratt Institute.
My professional credentials include Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist (BC-DMT), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). I also hold certifications in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
I’m delighted to be part of the Success & Wellbeing community, sharing our commitment to fostering connection, balance, and well-being.
